Nessas duas ilustrações, utilizei técnica mista de giz pastel oleoso sobre gouache em papel Schoeller. Em ambas foi feito o estiramento de papel sobre uma superfície lisa e plana, o que é igualmente aconselhável, em trabalhos onde o papel seja submetido a uma grande quantidade de umidade e tinta durante o processo de criação.
A textura de madeira foi criada utilizando pincel em formato leque, que facilita na reprodução dos veios da madeira com tinta gouache. No caso da cena do casal deitado lateralmente, foi preciso ainda o uso de pincel número “0” em pelo de marta para reproduzir filamentos finos que compõe a textura do cedro. Em seguida depois do trabalho bem seco, fiz um transfer manual utlizando como carbono o grafite 6B no verso do papel onde havia desenhado os casais. Isto evita que o lápis marque o papel pintado previamente permitindo um resultado final como se fosse de um afresco sobre a madeira.
Feito isso, o trabalho de desenhar com giz pastel oleoso sobre a textura em gouache, é feito utilizando um esfuminho nº 1. Ele foi passado em cada uma das cores no bastão de giz e em seguida aplicado na área desejada horas como se fosse um pincel e outras como se fosse um lápis. O resultado pode ser visto logo abaixo.

OIL PASTEL & GOUACHE
In these two illustrations, I used mixed technique of oil pastel chalk on gouache on Schoeller paper. In both, paper was stretched over a smooth flat surface, which is also advisable in jobs where the paper is subjected to a large amount of moisture and paint during the breeding process. The wood texture was created using brush in fan format, which facilitates the reproduction of the wood shafts with gouache paint. In the case of the scene of the couple lying laterally, it was still necessary to use brush number "0" in marta hair to reproduce fine filaments that composes the texture of the cedar. Then after the dry work, I made a manual transfer using graphite 6B as carbon on the back of the paper where I had drawn the couples. This prevents the pencil from marking the wallpaper previously allowing a final result as if it were from a fresco on the wood.After that, the work of drawing with oil pastel chalk on the texture in gouache, is done using a smudge nº 1. It was passed in each of the colors in the chalk stick and then applied in the desired area hours like a brush and others as if it were a pencil. The result can be seen below.
